Formed in 2015 upon a direct request from Ruth Elliott ( founder of Daughters of Cambodia) for an organisation in Australia which would directly focus on Australian donors and sponsors of Daughters of Cambodia clients and activities. We achieved charity status in 2016 allowing tax deductible receipts to be issued for Australian donations.
Daughters of Australia exists exclusively to assist in funding the operations of Daughters of Cambodia.
During the Covid 19 lockdowns in Cambodia it has also provided direct sponsorships of some of the clients when \u2018Daughters\u2019 main income businesses were hampered by lack of tourism.
Our volunteer Board cover all administrative costs of Daughters of Australia so that every dollar donated arrives in Cambodia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
